Picture4In 2014 the USDA-ARS Long-term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) Network accepted a proposal for the Lower Mississippi River Basin (LMRB) to become a contributing member of the network administered and led by researchers from the National Sedimentation Laboratory in Oxford, MS. Picture3The Lower Mississippi LTAR represents a cross-disciplinary collaboration of researchers from multiple ARS locations across the LMRB with the aim of identifying and addressing long-term challenges to sustainable agriculture in the region.
